Testimonial: Daniel Fleischer

During the summer of 2009, I rode a mountain bike from Mexico to Canada on the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route. Needless to say, the quality of wheels was of utmost importance, as this trip was going to be incredibly demanding. After extensive research, the wheels I chose for this adventure were hand built by Jude at Epic Wheel Works. Jude carefully listened to my needs, brought in thoughtful advice and professional insight, and provided me with the best support I could ask for. She built my wheels in a timely manner, and at a great price.

But how did the wheels perform? After over 3000 miles of fully loaded off-road touring, I put them on a truing stand, and discovered that neither wheel was more than 1/10 mm out of true, and the hubs still turned as smooth as butter.
